SASKFILMCAMP @ the Filmpool. This is the 5th Annual Summer Film Camp for ages 13 to 17. It all happens in downtown Regina, at the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative, #301- 1822 Scarth Street, Regina Saskatchewan.

In just one week young filmmakers learn how to create stories visually, using all kinds of film and video equipment. Participants shoot and edit all week long; trying out different crew positions and working together to create a bunch of amazing short films. At the end of each week the kids invite family and friends to their cinematic debut on the big screen at the Regina Public Library Film Theatre, in beautiful downtown Regina.

Camp 1: (July 5 - 9) students learn the basics of camera operation, lighting, sound recording and editing. This week is jam packed, full of different kinds of projects including documentary, experimental, animation, narrative and video poems.

Camp 2: (July 12 - 16) welcomes students back from Camp 1 to expand their skill set, and focus on specific areas of production and creative elements. Students explore their own interests and artistry. You must have taken Camp 1 in order to attend Camp 2.

Camps are each lead by 4 instructors; each Camp is limited to a maximum of 15 students to ensure proper instruction and supervision. Sign up soon, as space is limited to 15 people per week.
