Filmpool Membership

The Filmpool has innovative and diverse members throughout Saskatchewan as well as all across Canada. Our members include producers, directors, technicians, visual artists, musicians, writers, animators, designers, photographers, actors and other production personnel.

New members are required to pay a one-time $10 membership cooperative fee, with exception of Subscriber.Memberships are available to any resident of Canada however, grants and equipment access are limited to Saskatchewan residents. Memberships are 70$ for FULL membership, 55$ for BASIC membership, 70$ for AFFILIATE organizational membership and 15$ for SUBSCRIBER. Please see the chart below for details on membership privileges.

As of April 1, 2008 renewing memberships will not be pro-rated, and at any point through out the fiscal year renewal of membership remain the same price. However, new memberships will be pro-rated throughout the year.

Filmpool Memberships

Full Filmpool Membership - $70 / year	Full members are entitled to a free subscription of Splice Magazine and The Dailies (weekly e-newsletter, which members can post calls or events), reduced rates at Filmpool workshops and events, some equipment access and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting. Full membership also means members are eligible for production grants and full access to all Filmpool equipment.
Basic Filmpool Membership - $55 / year	Basic members are entitled to a free subscription of Splice Magazine and The Dailies (weekly e-newsletter, which members can post calls or events), reduced rates at Filmpool workshops and events, some equipment access and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.
Affiliate Filmpool Membership - $70 / year	This level of membership is available to non-profit organizations in the arts and culture sector in Saskatchewan. Privileges include: members' rates on equipment and editing facilities as well as a subscription to Splice magazine and The Dalies and all mailouts. This is a non-voting membership.
Filmpool Subscriber - $15 / year	Our associate level membership is known as a Subscriber and costs $15 per year. This membership is a non-voting membership. Subscribers do not have voting rights or access to equipment or funding opportunities as other members, but will receive The Dailies (Filmpool weekly e flyer), and are allowed to post in The Dailies. All members, including Subscriber will receive Splice magazine, the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative's publication which is published and mailed out twice a year.
