60 Second Cinema Course (2008)

Minds Eye’s 60 Second Cinema Course

An intensive course that takes you through the basics of filmmaking with a Bolex camera. Participants end up with a short black and white film and a public screening of their films.

Tuesdays beginning September 16, 2008

The 60 Second Cinema Course 4 starts September, 2008 and wraps up in February, 2009.

 

Instructor: Gordon Pepper

 

This course takes students through the basics of the entire filmmaking process. Learn the ins and outs of a 16mm Bolex camera, and how to take a story from concept to screen. Students participate in 13 classes, with instruction from professional filmmakers and mentors to end up with a black and white, short film and a public screening of their completed work.

 

No experience with filmmaking or film equipment required. Tuition is $400 for Full Filmpool Members, and $450 for non-members.

 

Individual classes for the 60 Second Course are also a GREAT option! Classes are available at the rate of 45$/class or 35$/class with a Membership.
