Saskatchewan has a lot of diverse and unique artist- “A Night of Poetry and Film” is an amazing exhibition opportunity for talented artists from 2 very different, yet strangely intertwined disciplines to present their work. The purpose of the event is to create new audiences for local poets and filmmakers.
Kelly-Anne Riess is a writer and filmmaker based in Regina. She is the author of the poetry collection To End a Conversation and the local bestseller the Saskatchewan Book of Everything. Her films have been screened at festivals across Canada. In 2008, she was shortlisted for a Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor’s Arts Award.
