We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for all rentals. Larger rentals will require more time.
Commercial rates will be charged to non-members, renters with a new membership of 3 months standing or less and members shooting non-independent work.
A minimum $30 deposit* is due when picking up equipment. This deposit will not be refunded if the equipment is returned late, incomplete, soiled, damaged, or improperly packaged. Equipment is due back by 12:00 pm on the due date unless other arrangements are made in advance. Late equipment will be charged at a daily rate set by the board of directors. Equipment has been checked and is in operational condition with damage and features as noted. Any damage found upon return that has not been noted will be charged to the member. Members are responsible for testing equipment before taking it out. Members are to contact the production coordinator with any equipment problems they encounter. Members who try to repair equipment may be charged for the replacement of said equipment if the equipment is returned in unsatisfactory condition. While the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative’s insurance policy may protect against some losses, the person or company named above is responsible for repair or replacement of items lost, damaged or stolen. The person is also responsible for any consequential damages to property or persons as a result of using the equipment.
*$30 deposit for standard equipment, $200 for 4k camera package. Other deposit rates vary depending on equipment package.
