COME HAVE YOUR SAY! The Filmpool AGM offers members a wonderful opportunity to share their thoughts about the Filmpool, to meet other Filmpool members, and to celebrate the art of independent filmmaking in Saskatchewan!
An important part of the AGM is updating members on a year at a glance at the Filmpool. There will be time for members to share their thoughts about the organization, elect our Board of Directors, review our annual audited financial statements, review our budget, hear staff and committee reports, and vote on important issues relating to our organizational policy and mandate.
The Filmpool is a membership-driven organization, and it requires your input and vision to help with key decisions moving forward in 2021-2022 and beyond. We hope to see everyone there! 📣🤝💭
After RSVP'ing, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link, draft financial statements, and the meeting agenda. Please note that only Basic and Full members have voting priveleges, as well as the opportunity to become a member of the Filmpool's Board of Directors.
Now is your chance to become more involved as a Filmpool member by being elected to sit on the Board of Directors! This year we have 5 Board members returning for their second year of service, and we will have 6 open spots on the Board for 2021-2022. We are still seeking nominations, so if you are interested in becoming a Board member, please contact the Filmpool by emailing president@filmpool.ca or executivedirector@filmpool.ca.
