Scriptwriting 4 with David Gane - a fantastic introductory scriptwriting class
Start Date: September 14th, 2010
End Date: October 26th, 2010
Cost: 100$ for Members of the Filmpool, 140$ for non-members.
This
is the fourth introductory scriptwriting course taught by David Gane, back by popular
demand. We have re-tooled this course slightly- by adding 2 weeks, to focus on formatting and structure. Note- no previous writing experience is necessary, but it wouldn't hurt to have the desire and drive to dedicate yourself to writing everyday.
Scriptwriting 4
is a comprehensive introductory scriptwriting course, which takes participants
through the entire process of writing a script – from original
idea to first draft screenplay. Instructor David Gane
will introduce the basic three-act story structure; plot points, beat
sheets and the dos and dont's of writing your first script.
This is the
course to take if you are interested in creative writing for the
screen; a great opportunity to learn how to write a first draft script. Participants are encouraged to come to class with ideas,
energy and be ready and willing to write!
To guarantee your spot you must register by coming down to the Filmpool with a payment in full. Only cheque, cash or money order will be accepted. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. This class is limited to 8 registrants.
