This is the fourth introductory scriptwriting course taught by David Gane, back by popular demand. We have re-tooled this course slightly- by adding 2 weeks, to focus on formatting and structure. Note- no previous writing experience is necessary, but it wouldn't hurt to have the desire and drive to dedicate yourself to writing everyday.

Scriptwriting 4 is a comprehensive introductory scriptwriting course, which takes participants through the entire process of writing a script – from original idea to first draft screenplay. Instructor David Gane will introduce the basic three-act story structure; plot points, beat sheets and the dos and dont's of writing your first script.

This is the course to take if you are interested in creative writing for the screen; a great opportunity to learn how to write a first draft script. Participants are encouraged to come to class with ideas, energy and be ready and willing to write!
