This exciting new workshop will focus on all things 4k production, with emphasis on utilizing the equipment offerings from the Filmpool (primarily the URSA mini 4.6k, Zeiss cp.2 lenses, Teradek wireless transmitter, and the Atomos Sumo monitor system). Through this online workshop, Daron will share his expertise and educate participants about the ever-changing and often-confusing world of modern video production in the 4k ecosystem. Daron Donahue is one of Canada's most decorated documentary cinematographers and was the recipient of both Gemini and Canadian Screen Awards for his work on The Great Human Odyssey (2015) and Code Breakers (2011), as well as three Alberta Film Awards for The Perfect Runner (2012), Code Breakers (2011), and Inuit Odyssey (2009). He is currently the Director of Photography for the 3-part CBC/PBS series Equus - Story of the Horse. Daron is a member of the Métis Nation of Alberta.
