Join us on Sunday, July 26 for a workshop all about cinematography with award winning Canadian cinematographer KIM DERKO. Free for Saskatchewan Filmpool members. $20 for non-members.

Learn basic fundamentals and advanced techniques of cinematography from a working professional who has mastered the art of the moving image. Have a project you are working on and have questions about cinematography? There is no better time then to ask Kim Derko on Sunday at the workshop.

Kim Derko c.s.c. is a full member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, IATSE 667, the Directors Guild of Canada & The International Caucus of Female Cinematographers.

A graduate of Emily Carr College of Art & Design in Vancouver, Derko studied art history, colour theory and photography before becoming a cinematographer.

Recently, Derko shot the remake of Cronenberg's 1977 RABID - a feature film directed by the Soska Sisters, produced by Back 40 Pictures…
