About the Event
This workshop explores image-making with direct animation using found footage. A short lecture will precede a studio/working session. Through examples, ideas and sharing of varied techniques, Rhayne will draw from a web of varying topics including the spirit of images, abstraction, image as building material, and Sun Ra’s principles of precision & discipline. Participants will then explore destruction/reconstruction processes and create a 16mm loop and/or an Imax cel collage.
This workshop is provided free of charge, RSVP to save your spot today!
