About the Event
Writing “real” dialogue not only keeps a script from sounding artificial, but it has the added benefits of showing the characters’ quirks and creating room for conflict through the misunderstandings that often occur when we’re not really listening attentively to each other. Likewise, writing from a place of vulnerability is key to developing dynamic and interesting characters.
