The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative is currently seeking two energetic individuals to fill the roles of Interim Program Coordinator and Member Services Assistant. Both postings are contract positions.
The Interim Programming Coordinator will assist in the development and the delivery of programmed events and workshops. The position will be responsible for the online promotion of these events through website promotion, social media and the production of event brochures, posters, cards and PSAs. The position, in collaboration with other staff members, will be responsible for assisting the organization in the areas of communications and public relations.
Reporting to the Filmpool’s Executive Director, the Interim Programming Coordinator will be responsible for information gathering as it relates to operations, and reports and summaries of all Filmpool programmed events.
The Interim Programming Coordinator will be responsible for event administration, which often can occur in the evening, or on weekends.
This is an eight month contract position, commencing August 4th, 2020.
Salary approximately $2,400/month, 35 hours per week.
The Member Services Assistant is responsible for maintaining the Filmpool’s membership database, website maintenance such as creating new menu items, graphic design, creating blog posts and archiving. They will ensure Filmpool members, as well as members of the local arts community, are appraised of all Filmpool programming and production related activities – either through electronic media or through the creation of print and promotional materials (brochures, posters).
The Member Services Assistant will assist in informing members of the benefits of membership, including equipment access, rental rates, grant opportunities, Filmpool events, and professional development opportunities. They will support the activities of the Interim Programming Coordinator, the Production Coordinator and the Executive Director whenever possible. They will also be responsible for drafting activity reports for Board of Director meetings.
To qualify, you will need to prioritize deadlines, possess exceptional computer skills, have the ability to work within a collaborative framework and be an exceptional communicator.
This is an eight week term position.
Salary $17/hour, 25 hours per week.
