The wait is nearly over; the Saskatchewan One Take Super 8 Event is this week! Premiering over 50 new super 8 films made by Saskatchewan filmmakers, 25 Saskatoon films will screen at the historic Roxy Theatre on Wednesday June 8, followed 25 Regina-made films at the Regina Public Library Film Theatre on Thursday, June 9. Shot on super 8, the films in these events have never been seen before, not even by the filmmakers! Edited in-camera, the works are shown as they were shot.
The One Take Super 8 Event is back! Registration is now open; submit your entry form and payment before 4pm APRIL 22nd. There are 25 spots available in Saskatoon, and 25 in Regina. • $40 for b/w reversal • $50 for colour • $25 if you provide your own reversal stock.
