The Filmpool is very pleased to announce that Filmpool Production Member Kelly-Anne Riess and her documentary film Finding Al has been selected by the Filmpool as its 2014 Telefilm Canada’s Micro-Budget recommended applicant.
The Micro-Budget Production Program targets emerging Canadian talent, supporting them in the production and promotion of their first feature-length film, with an emphasis on the use of digital platforms for marketing, distribution and audience engagement. Finding Al involves historical data and assorted tales surrounding the iconic mobster’s rumoured experiences in and around Moose Jaw, Sask in the 1920’s.
