CSIF Commission Project – Screening & Artist Talk

Witness, CSIF’s Commission Project for the 20th Annual $100 Film Festival, showcases six innovative films shot or finished to 16mm celluloid. Uniquely Albertan, these six artful projects cover diverse territory both technically and thematically, while forging surprisingly common threads. The project includes:

Joshua Whitford | Calgary | 2013 | 17min

The screening will be followed by an Artist Talk from James Reckseidler, a writer/director based in Calgary, AB, who uses traditional silent-era film techniques to engage his audiences on a highly emotional level. James is the co-founder of The Calgary Filmmakers Challenge; an annual screening event aimed at raising awareness of the local film community.
