At the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative, we’re thrilled to share our 2025-2028 Strategic Plan—a bold roadmap designed to stabilize, grow, and strengthen our organization for the future of Saskatchewan independent cinema. This important process was expertly facilitated by Ivy + Dean and generously funded by the Community Initiatives Fund.
Our Strategic Plan: A Path Forward
Focused on three key pillars—Operational Stability & Governance, Creation Support, and Refining Programming—this plan outlines clear, actionable goals to guide us over the next three years and beyond. It’s a thoughtful framework to help us navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and continue supporting filmmakers across the province.
Your feedback is invaluable as we work together to shape the future of our organization. Let us know what you think!
Financial Transparency: Reflecting on Our Journey
To provide context for our Strategic Plan, we’ve also made our audited financial statements—dating back to 2013—available on our About page. This transparency allows us to reflect on where we’ve been and better understand where we’re headed. For example, when adjusted for inflation, our revenues at year-end 2024 were over 30% lower than in 2013. This clarity helps us set realistic, achievable goals and ensures we’re building on a strong foundation.
