Happy to announce our new Programming & Mentorship Coordinator: Giovana Nabarrete de Souza Cruz! To get to know them a bit, their short bio is below <3

Originally from Florianópolis, Brazil, Giovana moved to Canada to complete her BFA in Film Production at the University of Regina, from which she graduated in 2023. On sets, she works mostly as a cinematographer and sound recordist/designer. Plus, she has a passion for film festivals, which she keeps alive by also working with various film festivals around Canada and Latin America.
