YFAIR Summer 2024

Updated: Jul 17

YFAIR is back!

Join us for this year's edition of YFAIR (Youth Filmpool Artists in Residence) from August 13th-23rd, Tuesday - Friday.

Over eight days, participants aged 15 to 20 will engage in a series of workshops, screenings, field trips, and activities around analogue and digital filmmaking. Designed to ignite their creative spark and give young artists a solid introduction to film and video, YFAIR is structured to provide the supportive environment and tools to craft a short film, to be screened at Regina's 2024 Nuit Blanche, on Saturday August 24th.

The program is free of charge, but spots are limited, apply today! Participants will be notified by the end of July :)

YFAIR will being held at the Filmpool office, 1822 Scarth Street, in the heart of downtown Regina, situated on Treaty 4 Territory, the original lands of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis / Michif Nation. The doors are located on Scarth Street and we are on the top floor. There is an elevator if needed.
