The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative is very pleased to announce today, in conjunction with the University of Regina’s Living Skies Student Film Festival, a brand new award and trophy at this year’s festival! The new award will be given to the filmmaker in the category ‘Best of Saskatchewan’.
We are very honoured to be involved in supporting this long standing international student film festival, and the emerging filmmaking talent represented across our province. The winning artist will also be awarded a $500 equipment deferral package from the Filmpool. We would like to thank Festival Chair Lucas Frison and the entire festival committee for endorsing the launch of this annual award.
