It has been a busy week! The third and final installment of This Big World launched last Wednesday and it sounds like the participants are already excited to get started on their puppet projects. This past Monday and Tuesday we had a successful screening and workshop with visiting Québécois artist Lysanne Thibodeau (we took photos so I’m sure someone will post them soon – check Facebook!). It was a great screening and her works were both fun and quite emotional.
The next big event is SUMMERFILMCAMP which starts next Monday! There is still a lot of work to do and we are all busy preparing lesson plans, equipment, supplies, etc… Should be an interesting week as we coach the young aspiring filmmakers.
