Job Posting! We're Hiring! Part-time Programming & Technical Coordinator!

The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative is seeking to hire a part-time staff team member to fill the position of Programming & Technical Coordinator to support our membership while ensuring the administrative and creative success of the organization.

 

Reporting to the Technical Director, Key Responsibilities for this position include:

· Supporting the Technical Director in managing the day-to-day operations related to equipment rentals, maintaining equipment inventory/database, maintaining on-site use of equipment and production rooms, creation support programs and managing the website and socials.

· Taking the lead role with membership management.

· Organizing technical training, workshops, screenings and other programming partnerships and opportunities.

· The Programming &Technical Coordinator is expected to provide interactive engagement with members, equipment renters, etc. and as such this position is required to have a physical presence at the Filmpool office.  Occasional attendance at events both at the Filmpool and offsite may be required.

 

Preferred Qualifications include:

· Film production experience and/or experience/education in film and digital cinema equipment

· 2 - 3 years in a programming or event coordination position would be an asset.

· Previous experience working in the not-for-profit sector is an asset.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

· Familiarity with the film/screen industry and/or community-focused initiatives

· Knowledge of project management

· Problem-solving and decision-making
