The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative is seeking to hire a full time staff member to fill the position of Production Coordinator. The deadline for application is Friday, February 26, 2016.
Job Description
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for all production activity through the Filmpool, including overseeing the Filmpool’s production and office equipment inventory and maintenance, as well as equipment access to Filmpool membership and the Saskatchewan arts community, The position will also be responsible in administrating the Filmpool’s independent production grant program.
Working in association with the Filmpool’s Programming Coordinator, the position will be responsible for the delivery of all technical and equipment based workshops and activities, including exhibitions, festivals, and outreach projects.
Reporting to the Filmpool’s Executive Director, the Production Coordinator will be asked to assist with information gathering as it relates to the production of Filmpool operating and special project grants, as well as final reports and summaries of all Filmpool programmed events.
The position, in collaboration with other staff members, will also be responsible to assist the organization in all other areas of communications and public relations.
Finally, the Production Coordinator is a staff member of the Filmpool, an artist-run-centre, as such this position will often be called upon to fulfill basic support for programming and operations at the Filmpool which are not outlined in the job description. These extra duties are to be applied to the position in a responsible way and in good faith.
Note: This position includes a four-day (28 hours) workweek with full benefits.
