We’re thrilled to announce that the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative will be joining the Canada-wide 2021 48 Film Festival!
This is an annual event throughout Canada, aiming to foster a collaborative and dynamic time-based filmmaking experience for its many participants across the country. Teams will have just 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, score, and produce an original short film. All experience levels, genres, and filmmaking practices will be accepted and championed! Even better, the top films from every participating province will be screened at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in spring 2022.
For more information about the challenge, visit https://the48filmfest.ca/what-is-the-48/ and stay tuned to our social media and website.
This year’s edition will go down on June 11th-13th, 2021. Grab your friends and register your team! More details about the registration process will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Note: This is a separate event from the RPL 48 Hour Film Challenge, which traditionally happens in late summer every year. We strongly encourage participants to consider registering for both events and enjoying a summer of 48s!
